What do you mean by your concept of
leaving "behind intellectual models"? Given, those are two types of circumstances where consultants are deployed. What we found disappointing was that these consultants were so "project" or "program" focused that they did not leave anything behind besides their findings. "So what? That is what they were there for in the first place." You are quite right. But how would it be if a consultant would not only deliver the results of the project, but also lifted up the organization in manner that would help the individual, department and ultimately the corporation grow? Our objective is not to become a revolving door of retainment by your organization, but to be obsolesced in certain areas, by virtue of using and applying those resources within your own organization at a level that had not experienced. We approach every objective with the idea of using the Learn3™ model as the mold. The result being a blueprint, which can be followed by the organization in the current circumstances, but that will also be an "intellectual model" that can be applied in future circumstances. ©HibbardInc.2002 All Rights Reserved
Currently, there are many fine organizations, of varying size, skills, and aptitudes doing this type of work. So, answer in kind...nothing when you consider the result, which should be a report, or opinion of some type. Where we are dramatically different is that we have worked in the environments that your teams are facing. Our backgrounds have prepared us in the practical sense versus the academic. Being on the firing line and having to make decisions in many of the areas that your organization are facing is something that we have done. We understand the demands of business and we appreciate the human side of the equation. That being there are only so many resources, and only so much time in a day. Ultimately, a decision, or course of action, has to be undertaken. ©HibbardInc.2002 All Rights Reserved |
